spindles

ok guys heres my first question on the forum. I have a 72 half ton front end to convert my 67 to disc brakes. but I want to keep my truck 6 lug ( nice rims) so If i order the 6 lug rotors from a supplier. (they are not 4x4 rotors but 2wd rotors converted i guess.) will they fit on 1972 spindles? In other words, are 72 spindles different than 73 and up? thanks in advance.

Re: spindles

Michael, welcome to the board. Give Early Classic Enterprises a call. They should be able to answer your question alot better. I don't know what you paid for the 72 front end you have now, but it may be cheaper to order a new 6 lug setup from them. The 72 setup uses different ball joints, tie rods, and drag link. You can order spindles from ECE with 6 lug rotors that use all the original 67 steering linkage and ball joints.

Re: spindles

That what I needed. thank you. I got the setup for free but I think replacing the spindle with a new one from ece would be the way to go since I`m not doing serious mods to the suspension. Thanks again guys

Re: spindles

What I'm doing is putting an 84 suspension on mine, then getting the 6 lug rotor kit from GMCPauls........
