lug nut pattern
any body know the lug nut pattern for 68 2x4 1/2 ton is. I googled it what i found was that it is a 5 lug and my 68 has 6 lug. My other question is will escalade wheels bolt up to my truck

the 68 was never a 5 lug.
If I'm not mistaken, it's a 6 on 5 |

6 lug on a 5 1/2'' circle, same as a toyota and the 4wd 1/2 tons

Yup. Six lugs, 5.5" spacing on Chevy half ton C- and K- series. Later on, ['71 or '72?] C-series went to the passenger-looking 5 lugs, but the K- series (4WDs) kept the 6 lugs. I hear the newer GM products [and the ricers] have a different backspacing, but I'm not the expert here.
