Re: power steering???
All you need is the power steering box of any 4x4 from 69 to 87 and the steering arm and pitman arm. Plus the pump brackets and hoses. And bolt it on its not like the 67 and 68 were there is no indention in the frame for the power steering box.
If you have a big lift on the truck you may want to go to cross over steering if you do that you need a 2wd box instead of the 4wd box and you need a steering arm for the passenger side. It’s a little more work then just regular power steering but it’s the best way to go if its lifted up.

Re: power steering???
You need to have an aligned pulley set up for the PS pump also....and make sure its correct for the water pump alignment also.

Re: power steering???
the steering arm and pitman arm that you have may work. post a pic here and Ill let you know if it looks the same. I cant remeber if they were diffrent then or not. for the 67 and 68 Im sure they were but 69 to 72 I cant remeber.

Re: power steering???
In the FAQ section, there is a really good writeup (by shifty i believe), and it lists part numbers for everything you could possibly need.
as far as mounting the pump, I'm using a PS bracket from march and i really like it. it was simple to install, and mounts completely on the front of the engine. not like the stock brackets that wrap around and mount on the exhaust.
