Coil Over front spring rate? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am working on my 57 Chevy Truck project IFS with Aldan coil over shocks. I have a set of 400 lb springs but they seem a bit weak and I don't even have the front clip on yet. Can anyone tell me from experience what pound springs worked for them? I have an old Chubby Chassis IFS and as far as I know they are no longer in business. Any help appreciated.
