Cool What do you think?

Last weekend my buddy and me played around with some trimlines and windows paint.
What do you think about that?
Iīm looking to do something to light up the red paint and ad some coolness too!
Iīd love to have some pinstriping but nobody around here can do that, except Herb Martinez who comes around once a year to have a workshop and do some shows but i couldnīt get even near to him!
So as usually i go and do it myself!
Show some designs please!

Re: What do you think?

I think you should leave it alone. It looks good like it is. If you insist on adding some stripes, I think your design is going the wrong way. To me it is to "heavy" in the front and should be thinned out and reversed.

Re: What do you think?

Thanks for all your words!
I like the longbed and i think it looks smooth like it is.Iīll just ad a fine line that you have to look twice to see it and a some ironic words brushed on the lower edge of the tailgate like: Everything else is just a toy!
If i find something i really like i may ad it later!

Re: What do you think?

I hate to bring this up, but you really need some new cab mount bushings. I noticed that the back of your cab is sagging and its throwing your lines off between your cab and bed. Otherwise, it's a good looking truck, and I'd leave it as it is. Just my opinion. ...Joe

Re: What do you think?

I like the solid red. Those graphics are just wrong...but the colors work. Check out PhenixGrafix (spelling?) for ideas and decals. Sometimes they sell on fleabay also.

Youīre right about that but i have all new cab bushings from energysuspension!I donīt know why the driverside is not like the others.Maybe the framebracket where the mount is on isnīt ok.I have to put a spacer between the mount and the cab.

You may need to put some more shims in there to bring it up. LMC sells them, but they are pretty expensive for what they are, around $5 each last time I looked. Or you might be able to pick some up at a salvage yard. It would be a lot cheaper way. ...Joe

Re: What do you think?

Iīd love to have a salvage yard that has us parts or even complete trucks but the only
V8 you can get here on a salvage yard may be a crashed BMW 740 or Audi V8!
That is why even the worst us part or car or truck is so expensive overhere.Mostly itīs cheaper to buy new and itīs safer too!
A friend will make me a proper spacer from aluminum!
Is that a common problem on these trucks? I looked at many pics and most of them have no straight line from doors, cab and bed!

You got a good eye for detail. I could have looked at that picture for another week and still wouldn't have noticed that.
