i wanna notch my truck



Does anyone have any pics on how they did it? I am pretty new to the game.

When you say notch what are you referring to? The rearend is the first thing that comes to my mind. Get you a C-notch kit from somewhere like classicperform.com and they come with install instructions pretty self explanitory. If you get stuck post a question. If this isn't what you are talking about then ignore my answer.

It's not that hard to do just measure mark and drill (I put a few welds on mine for insurance) go slow have fun......

I see the notch that chief did is a bit more complicated than sirs. I assume the chief version is to lay frame correct?

Forgot to add it is pretty easy if you have the right tools. If not plan on adding several hrs to the job. The big pain for me were the factory frame rivets the had to be removed, i don't have a cutting torch so i grinded and used an air hammer but maaaannn it i was still a pain (for me anyways) those 41 year old rivets did not want to turn loose.
