Sat pics (10-6) am I boring you?

Well we got out today and made the drive down to Cartersville. Made it to a pretty nice cruise the pics from which are here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=1#post2391702

I tried to find some places to shoot a couple pics while i was down there but first I need to show you one from earlier in the week. Nothing special, I just like to provide evidence from time to time that I haul things with my truck and there was a reason I got a spray-in liner.

I took these pics at a place called Roselawn.

This building is also on the property. I didn't have the nerve to pull the truck across the lawn for this shot!

A bit more of an industrial feel to this series.

Probably my favorite shots of the night.

Nice...it still looks like the middle of summer where you are! You wouldn't even want to take your sweet truck out in the rotten autumn weather we're having this long weekend up here in BC.

Cool pics I still don’t believe you put any thing in the truck it’s got to be a photo shop or maybe you were getting ready for a parade or something and needed the seating.

What is your drop? 4/6? Very very nice. Hopefully when my truck gets out of the shop this winter it will look half as nice as yours. The one house in the background in your pictures looks out of place with such a nice truck that you have.

Re: Sat pics (10-6) am I boring you?

Great pictures as always. What camera settings are you using for the night shots and did you use a tripod??? Your pictures always look so good so any tips would be appreciated.

The other thing I was curious about is how many pictures did you take to get 20 good shots or are you really that good that all of them turn out?

Re: Sat pics (10-6) am I boring you?

I did use a tripod for these shots. All I did was play with the shutter speed. These shots have anywhere from a 4sec-64sec shutter speed. I think I took a total of 26 pics to come up with the few I used here.

Here's one with the lights on.

This one just made my but look big (high in the arse end)

Too much of my shadow going toward the passenger side of the bumper.

I just didn't post this one. I didn't really dislike it but I just didn't use it.

Oncoming traffic put more light on these two than I wanted.

Can't see the frontend on this one.

Same angle as another shot I think I posted but the exposure was less. I thought it looked a bit dark.

I don't think I just outright deleted any but I don't recall. So now you guys see what I feel like wasn't fit to share out of this batch.

Can we post requests?
How about old vs. new? Let's see some pix with yours and 2008 Silverado. Just a thought.

Re: Sat pics (10-6) am I boring you?

If I knew someone with a newer truck that wanted pics taken of it I would be glad to do it for them. I've done some pics for a couple board members as well as some regular joes. I'm really wanting to get another tripod as well as a polarized filter for my new camera. I think there's also a better zoom lens available for it as well. Todd, I'm going to try to be at the Cleveland cruise at the end of the month. Maybe I can make some shots of the ol 6 banger for ya!
