71 Body Mounts ..

Ok, finally stopped raining, and I am about to start putting in all the parts I have in boxes. I am ready to put the new body mounts in, but the old ones are so deteriorated I can't tell which way to install the new ones( actually 2 mounts are gone- top and bottom)

So, Do I put the larger mount on top and the little tapered one on the bottom?
or the other way around?
and which way is up for them both?

Any info or pics would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 71 Body Mounts ..

That's great, and exactly what I'm talking about. I can tell from the pics that the tapered one goes 'pointy side' down on the bottom. I just want to know if the upper one should have the metal bushing facing up or down.

And I'd imagine the front also has the conical one in the same position.

Anyone else?

Thanks
