Re: Pics of 67 GMC
I really like the look of the GMCs. The 67 and 68 front end/grille were the same, no?

Re: Pics of 67 GMC
No. The 67 had GMC stamped into the grill, and no side markers.

Re: Pics of 67 GMC
Man - 9 posts and I haven't seen anyone accurately describe the breakdown in the GMC grilles yet! I thought special-K would nail it for sure (he was the closest).
'67:GMC stamped in center. '68:same grille/no stamping. '69/'70:same center grille as '68/all chrome/wider outer trim. '71/'72:wider center bar with black accent paint. |

Re: Pics of 67 GMC
Here is the 67 i had it was my first truck. it got backed in to so it has the wrong grill it was the best i could find at the time. This was in 93 and I didn’t have internet then to get parts. Wish I still had this truck. Sold it before I went to Okinawa.

Re: Pics of 67 GMC
Surely! Here's your prize:
Is the 1967 the only year they had this tailgate? Or was it '67-'68? That's what I have on my '71. I knew it was a '67 (or '67-'68) when I put it on there, but I liked it better than the larger lettered ones. Plus, it was all I could find when I built my truck. Aftermarket ones weren't being produced yet, and my two factory ones were in bad shape. DLB |
