Carb Help

OK so I was putting new intake exhaust gaskets on the 1967 in-line 6 and thought, hmm.. Maybe if I tighten the bolts on that old single barrel carb it might help the small leaks it had on it.. OK so I hit em all with a screw driver .. and also the one on the very top toward the back.. it was very loose.. OK I kept turning and turning it and it would not get tight.. That is when I said uh oh .. I bet that is a float screw or idle circut screw.. Well I put her all back together hoping that it was nothing and that I got it close to where it was but no such luck .. the thing wont run but about 5 minutes then dies.. and I can't find any info on this carb on the net on how to set them up or anything.. It was running fine before I messed with it.. as usual lol

If anyone knows how to set this screw or what it is and could let me know I would surely appreciate it ..

Jeff
