Identify this TOW HOOK
Just as the title says, I removed it from a 68 GMC
what is it from and is it a correct one?

If mounted in the correct tow hook holes the hook would be sideways compared to the regular hooks.They are from a bigger truck or bus or something,but not 67-72 10-30 or 1500-3500 series hooks...It might look ok mounted on the back of the truck.

Agra supply just calls then hevy duty tow hooks. I wish I had a pic still they look just like those. we had an old post with a pick of them before and I posted pics Ill try and find that post.

i've seen them on bigger trucks, mounted on top of the frame and busses in the rear.definitly not a factory 67-68 or 69-72 front hook.

Sounds good guys thanks for the knowledge, didn't pay tow hook price for it so that is a good thinkg. maybe I will have to order 2 of them and put them on my GMC
