OUCH! My bed hurts !

Most of you guys know how this happened, but----- is there a patch panel made that would repair this? or am i stuck looking for a bedside --- i dont want an aftermarket bed panel and the stock ones are hard to find that dont need a ton of bodywork

Re: OUCH! My bed hurts !

Don't know about the individual patch panels. You could get an aftermarket bedside and cut a section out to repair yours, so you still have the good fit. I don't know how cost effective buying a whole bedside is. You could also hunt around at the junkyard and find a bed that has that section in good shape and cut it out for a patch panel.

That's what I would do rather than replace the whole side, Defiantly no aftermarket pieces.

whew --- Indiana trucks!!! I have a buddy from Lafayette who talked about 10 yo trucks being scrapped - now i can believe it.

Oklahoma is borderline, if its old enough , there will be rust, but i rarely see anything from the late 80's or '90's with a problem

Re: OUCH! My bed hurts !

Texassquarebodies came through with an above average bedside --- so the search is over, thankfully --- i know they can be patched, and bedsides are available, but i really wanted to find a complete side - i am not a welder at all
