Matt- that's the truck version megashifter, right?. If so, does the handle touch the seat when you put it down in first gear???

yes truck megashifter

there's an inch gap between it and the seat at the least when slamming down.

the seat's all the way back, but if the seat is foward at all, yes the shifter touches it. it's all about how the floor bracket is mounted.

Re: lets see those interiors!

Not the best pictures but it's all I have right now. Seat is a 60/40 out of a later model 80" truck. I bought the material to match it and the wife did the rest.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Andy,
does that seat give plenty of room? it looks like the seat back is thinner than stock, which would/could mean more room/comfort?

Only things I did that were "different" was the door panels.

Re: lets see those interiors!

As far as I know it's a factory seat. I didn't do anything to it. I have the gas tank out of the cab since I installed the TPI fuel injection. I didn't like the idea of the fuel and electric pump behind me.

Re: lets see those interiors!

^You're seat is out of an 88-98 silverado, although, I think that style was only used from 88-93.

These are from a 1998 Silverado. Whenever I discuss them I like to mention that seats like these with integrated seatbelts require reinforcements to the floor and there are some boardmembers who think even then they shouldn't be used in our application. Just a FYI.

Re: lets see those interiors!

Heres my interior in my 68 and a sneak peak at the dash I am building for my 67 shop truck that is under destruction... 68 has 72 blazer seats and center console, all autometer gauges I put in the stock cluster from behind, chrome heater box, Ididit tilt column, classic auto sound radio and a 10 disc changer under the passenger seat.. I love the houndstooth covers on those hot summer days, cloth is much cooler on the backside! Installed power windows and put the switches over the stock crank location.. Truck has a munci 4 speed and the shifter just touches the console in 2nd and 4th.. Airride controls are in the center console with a 4 way digital pressure gauge. I pulled the interior colors in to the bed as well... I cut and wrapped wood for the floor, sides and front with black vinyl....

as for the 67 dash... Just trying to live out some crazy day dreams through a welder and grinder.... stay tuned for more.... lol!

Re: lets see those interiors!

seats are original 69 bucket seats, just need to recover with original scroll seat covers, the center console is also original and the gas tank is still behind seat for now. plan on moving under bed with polished aluminum tank this winter.
