Center bolt SB valve cover question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Has anyone found any real trick (nice looking) center bolt valve covers for the '87- SBC? I need two sets and I've been searching without a lot of luck. I don't need a notch out in either side.

I like the 86 to 91 l98 vet covers the best they remind we of the old school finned valve covers. there painted so if you want them polished your going to have to beed blast them down and polish them. I have a set Im polishing up now to use. if you get them from GM get ready for a heart atack there 240 a set. ebay around 100 a set . there Magneeziam so when you polish them up they look alittle diffrent then the aluminam but they come out great. If I can get my cammra to work with me today Ill try and get a pic for you.

GM has three options in their catalog....I'd like something taller without "Chevrolet" in them

here are a set of the vet ones after I blasted them I hit one with a buffer for a minute so it would shine a little but it isnt done yet.

Somthing like these ????? I have a friend that makes these he has differant ones but this is the only pic I can find.... He has some with just lines crossed flags , impala, ext. They do custom work to ..... last i knew they were made in the usa the castings that is.... machined and polished in KANSAS

I havnt seen any mill work done.....but a lot of polishing work for bikes.... he did a 400 turbo case a while back that was awsome

fuel rail covers for a LT1....I know ......they are not valve covers

Seems like someone has center-bolt valve covers that mimic the early Olds valve covers....if a little deception isn't out of the question.

a little smaller but they do look close the sheet metal really do...imo

Burnham, buy them from Billet Specialties. Glen makes some really nice stuff.
