WTB - Short Bed, fleetside or narrow
I'm looking for an extra nice short bed for a 68 up. It must be within a reasonable distance from central Oklahoma. I will pay top dollar, but it has to be nice!

I have two brand new goodmark short fleet bedsides? I can ship them to your door, a floor, front panel, and tailgate (the latter two can be had repop as well) and you have a perfect and "NEW" bed? LMK, drop me a PM for info!

Re: WTB - Short Bed, fleetside or narrow
I have a couple and hope to be moving them down to my place the next couple of days and will post pics as I move them. Also, I get to DFW and KC fairly regularly in case you find one in those areas and need it picked up.

Good luck on your search. I see that you sold 2 nice rides. Got any old pics of them?

Jim, here are a couple of pics of some of the old rides. Many more since then, but I haven't posted in awhile.

Re: WTB - Short Bed, fleetside or narrow
Sure thought there would be more out there. I'm about to buy one that is a little farther than I would like. Anyone else?

I think you'll find more tow hooks than short wide beds out there. Good luck.

Re: WTB - Short Bed, fleetside or narrow
I am also looking for a complete SWB stepside bed and fenders. I am in Kentucky, but I will drive a reasonable distance to pick it up.. I assumed that I am far enough away from David that we wouldn't be "competing" for the same part.
(Sorry if this is perceived to be a thread hijack. I tought of it as conserving bandwidth.) |

Re: WTB - Short Bed, fleetside or narrow
I have a shortwheelbase stepside bed for sale. I believe it is off of a 70 model. It is pretty straight for its age and I believe it has a pretty decent wood floor in it (it's been a while since I looked it over real well). I bought it about 10 years ago for a long wheel base 4x4 I was going to shorten and ended up selling the truck before I had time to complete the project. The bed had the original orange paint on it when I purchased it. I had the bed and tailgate sandblasted and started a little body work on the tailgate before I ran out of time to work on it. I shot a couple of coats of gray primer on it and put it up in the barn. All the sheetmetal is straight if I remember correctly but it seems like the fenders have a little rust where they bolt down to the step plates at the front of fender. All it needs is a little body work and paint and it would be ready to go. Oh, by the way it is a chevrolet bed (so says the tailgate). I would like to have 750 for it but I would be willing to negotiate to some degree. Let me know if anyone has any questions.
