One day I'll get back to this

One day I'll get back to this..My 69 4wd.It started life as a '69 K10 LWB Stepside Custom/10.It had a 350/SM465/Rockwell T221.I tore it down for a body swap and never finished. It now sits with the drivetrain removed and the motor in another truck.I've got a 350 I want to make a 355 out of and put it in the truck.I've got a 14 bolt F.F. rear for it,and a 10 bolt Corp. front if I don't find a DANA 60 before time comes to install the front axle.It now has a 6" lift.I'd like to get some TSL's for it,I might settle for a cheaper set.I'd like to get a decent body from a 2wd and swap on so the colors match.I looked at a 72 C10 LWB for $1750 that was medium green that would have been a good donor truck but I really want a Blue/white two tone or a Ochre/White body for it.What am I going to use the truck for? It's just going to be my "work truck". Tow a trailer, haul wood, tow my camper, haul my 4 wheelers, etc.Plans are to add a converted to 4-spd Van tilt,Stock A/C,the toolbox in passenger side bed, bumper guards(Got to get a bumper first. ),eventually front and rear tow hooks, and hitch. Right now it's hiding under a cover in some weeds...
Here's a few old pics of it.

A photoshop of it with some work done to it.This might be some motivation to work on it...nothing radical about it..

Re: One day I'll get back to this

It's alot cheaper to photoshop stuff on the truck than spend money on it,Tim

I think now I'm going to use a HO52 with no spin in the back, not the 14 bolt...Now I want to get a DANA 44 front axle too so it looks more original..It may be getting a medium blue/white body from a 2wd for it...I'd like to put a GMC front end on it though,I want a longbed 4wd GMC I may also put the lift on it now on the 72 Short K1500 and use the 4" lift off it on this since it may sit a little high with the 6" lift to be practical.
