My blazer addiction pics!

3 out of four of my blazers. Just finished a flip kit in the rear of my 85 (daily driver)

My 71 2wd has been sitting for a while as you can tell. I had to put new driver and passanger floor pans in as well as complete bed floor and a passanger side quarter panel. had to take a break for a while after all that.

The other 72 4wd is the reason im into blazers at all. Its my dads old blazer that he bought in portland back in '78. just finishing up a 4" lift on that one. gonna go play.

My other blazer is also a 72 4wd "basket case" that i think im lookin to sell. i can take some pics of that if anyone is interested.

Re: My blazer addiction pics!

These are what has been taking time away from the blazers lately. One isn't an early chev truck but i figure you guys wont mind.

my 37 chev pickup with a blown 235 and a full synchro 3. And my latest addition a '37 chev 2dr sedan.

Re: My blazer addiction pics!

Looks like you've got some fun rides. The rat rods remind me of my dad's. He's got a 35 dodge PU with a 225 slant 6. He split the exhaust manifold and has stacks behind the cab. The whole thing has been channeled 5" and the bed shortened 12".

W/W cheater slicks, full moons, and a chopped top, how much more retro could you get, you've got some serious talent. What are the front wheels off of, they don't look familiar??? Good work J.

Oh, I forgot blown six banger

Where did you get your knowledge from? Chopping a top with no bondo is not something you try first time out.

Those wheels do look like something off of a cannon. Sooo how does it run??? Is the placement of the leaf springs running on top of your frame. If it is I would like to see a closeup of that setup, when you get a minute! You definately have alot on your plate

Knowledge? whats that?....I grew up around hot rods its all pretty much rubbed off on me. Chopping a pickup cab like mine is almost the easiest thing to chop, aside from a modle A. Oh, and trust me my roof is gonna need some filler.

The suspension is of my own design, if you want to call is design. i just worked with what i had to make what i wanted, thats what its all about right.

I've seen something like that dun before, but it was a semi-elliptic, never with a full leaf spring. So is the center of the leaf tied to the frame??? Thanks for your time, J.

I'm having a hard time hanging a repro door, yor chopping tops!! I'm impressed.....
