Anyone use a B&M shifter?

I have a B&M mega shifter and would like to use it in my 55.2, I'm looking for any pictures or information of how it's installed, is it mounted to the Trans or the the floor?

Re: Anyone use a B&M shifter?

I don’t have one but have used them before, they are floor mounted just like most automatic shifters.

Here is a link with instructions

Thanks guys, I really wanted to know if they were bolted to the floor or the transmission, per Jamis, it's the floor.

Re: Anyone use a B&M shifter?

my old 55 had the mega shifter bolted to the floor, I will never run another one, two raesons, takes up alot of room, and on mine the pin that pulled the cable kept coming loose, maybe it was just worn out?

Re: Anyone use a B&M shifter?

Got a megashifter in mine. Bolted to the floor. Don't have a pic off-hand. The interior is still trashed. I plan on building a console that will enclose the shifter...It's worked well for me so far...

Re: Anyone use a B&M shifter?

I'm going to use it instead because it was given to me, I wanted to get the Lokar shifter that connects to the transmission with a bracket but since this was free I'll try it. I also will try to make a console around it.
