I'm looking at some 15 inch wheels for my 69 panel. He told me the rears are 15x8 with a 1.5in positive offset and the fronts are 15x7 with a .5in positive offset. Right now they are on his 82 2wheel drive blazer.

I have converted the front 6 lug drums to 5 lug disks. I believe this widens the front track a bit...will those fronts work on mine, or will the rim stick out to far?

The rear is stock width 69 with 5 lug axles. I believe this is a narrower rear than the later models.

I'm going to want the outer edge of the wheels to be close to the same spot on the wheel wells front and rear. What do you guys think?

On my '69 C/10, still with stock drums on all 4 corners, the fronts stick out further than the rears with 15 X 8 6 lug Rallys. I added 1.25" spacers on the rear, and I like the look much better now. You will probably be OK with 7's on front and 8's on the rear. Sorry for the bad 1st pic, but that's the only one I have before I put the spacers on.

I`m never sure what guys mean when talking offset.I mean,it`s different to some than others.First of all,these aren`t factory rallyes?Ok,when you say positive offset,do you mean the "dish"...how deep the wheel is going out from the hub?I always called front wheel drive wheels negative offset because the had no "dish" and they were ofset inward more than outward.But,I`ve had guys say that negative offset means
"dish" or the opposite of backspace.

They are original style torq thrust wheels. Black spokes with polished rim. I usually hear back spacing thrown around here on the board. This fella is talking positive offsets and of course he's telling me they will fit perfectly.
