Question E-brake cable routing

I've got all the hardware to reinstall the emergency brake system but can't find a diagram with how it all goes together. Any body have a pic or drawing for a '69 Long fleetside from the pedal to the rear?
Thanks

prewtty basic, ill try and describe some of it, i assume you hahve coils rear suspension ?

the rear axle cables route to outside faces of the trailing arms and theres a clip for the end of the rear axle cables to sit in,

the rear axle cables ends get a small spread out C or U shaped bracket deal with slot in it that the intermediate cable end goes into also
the intermediate cable gones from one rear cable end to up front under rear or just behind rear of tranny and goes to other side of truck and then goes back to the other rear cable on the other side of truck,

there are four thick wire/rod deals that are bent so that the cable slides through one end and the other end is hooked to go in frame rail holes, one at about the tail of tranny on each sode of truck and one on each side a bit further back i believe, i think two are shorter than the other two, i forgot which length go in front and which go in rear, i can look on the 71 and reply again or someone else will

the end of the front cable that runs from brake pedal aseembly goes to about the end of tranny and theres threaded shaft and nut on the end of it, there is a small bracket with hole in middle that slides on the end of the front cable and then nut goes on, but you must sit the intermediate cable in the channel of this bracket before sliding the bracket onto the end of the front cable end, then put on nut, shoudl be two nuts actually, so that they can lock together to retain cable tension adjustment.

questions? if i had a digicam i owuld just go and take pics, but ill be damned if I iever get one... lol they cost too damn much, so...

Question

Yes 1/2 ton w/coils on the rear. I also have a rod that is a little over a foot long that goes through the frame on the passenger side that is part of the assembly. Any ideas how its incorporated?

The longer rod hooks into the frame and holds the inter cable in the front on the driver side so it can make the turn to go back. There is a diagram in the LMC catalog. I am going to try to hook the pieces of mine up soon. Good luck.

i was wrong on the metal bent hanger rod thingies, only are two, one on each side and are back almost to the carrier crossmemeber under cab back wall pokes through a fram,e rail holwe, the straight rod you mention is for driver sie and the middle long cable that loops all from left to right side of truck goes through the bracket deal on the end of the rod

ONE LAST THING

looks like the cable goes over the transmisson cross member, Correct? And last question . . . The cable looks like it goes through the cross member that the trailing bar arms bolt to. There is a side ways triangle cut out there and 2 smaller round cut outs. Which does it route through?
