Has anyone converted Longhorn to 4x4?

Speaking of real work trucks. I think a c-30 Longhorn with a dana 60 front, and a H052,72 or corp. 14 bolt rear with the 1 ton frame, would be one hell of a work horse. Not that the Longhorn as factory is'nt, and not to offend MR.Longhorn Man, or any of the Longhorn followers. I just think that with 1 ton running gear, and a little lift the truck would have a lot of presentation, and the 4x4 would only accent the Longhorn package. Has anyone done this? Pictures? Might be a nice project!

Re: Has anyone converted Longhorn to 4x4?

A friend in Sun Valley has one. It`s red/orange & white,if anyone`s every out there.I had a`71 C/30 Napco conversion.I don`t have any good pictures with the Spicer axle.I had to swap axles until I gathered all the parts for the Spicer(25 years ago).I finally got it together when it was a shop to get the utility bed removed and someone stole it.I have a picture of a Longhorn 4wd,but must have passed over it.I`ll look later. Here`s a husky pickup.A Longerhorn...
