Maybe someone can help this guy?

I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules by posting this here, but I saw this on craigslist and thought someone might be interested: Emergency Sale

Re: Maybe someone can help this guy?

I don't appreciate being threatened- he can keep his truck and his hopeless situation.

Re: Maybe someone can help this guy?

I wouldn't call him even if I needed the truck bad and had the $$ to buy it after he has prejudged potential buyers in that fashion. He should deal with lowballers as they come.
I guess he should go get one of those payday loans at high interest and get the girl home.

Re: Maybe someone can help this guy?

Yeah, I didn't care for the attitude either, but someone might get a decent ride for cheap! But who knows, without a pic it could be a pile of junk!

Re: Maybe someone can help this guy?

some one will ALWAYS try to low ball and strong arm there way into paying much less, even when it's well below value. Even on here, someone tried doing that to me on teh sale of my old SWB. I wanted to tell the guy to ____ off... but I didn't.

Re: Maybe someone can help this guy?

I simply put "No Hagglers" on my Craigs List ads. Him threatening to kick someone's ass violates craigslist terms of service so I flagged his post. Regardless of his personal situation, maybe I'm a hard a$$ I dunno.

Re: Maybe someone can help this guy?

That didn't bother me one bit, about the kick your a$$ comment. What bothered me is the lack of a picture. If this was legit you'd think he could have borrowed a camera.Obvious scam.

Re: Maybe someone can help this guy?

Well I just called him, I told him my name is Andy and Im from Ohio. I offered him 250 bucks and I would fly down and pick it up. It was kind of silent for a second and then he asked for my number so he could call me back ... (now where did I put Andys number?)...

but seriously, I wouldn't even consider it because of no picture.
I think we have all posted something maybe we would have changed, so give the guy a break. I just hope he gets his personal issue taken care of.

I wonder if he likes to travel. A bunch of us could make him lowball offers and keep him busy for a while.
