71 Step side. Can you remove the front end in one piece?? Unbolt the fenders and the inner fenders, then unbolt everything to the front core support, then pull the two fenders, grill, front core support off in one piece???

A friend recommended that i did it that way, but i didnt think that was possible. Is it???

Yes you can remove the whole front end in one piece.

Would you recommend doing it in one piece, or doing it a piece at a time? Just trying to find the best way, get opinions on which direction to head.

Piece by Piece method - I would use for disassembly for paint, cleaning, or for selling parts or if it was just you and you had nobody else to help you...

1 shot deal - if you wanted to get to the firewall, frame off restore, etc. Having 1 (or 2) folks to help you move this is essential (obviously), and if the bolts are tight - it will help with maintain the integrity of the front end...If I had to do it - I would enlist a pal or two and do it in one shot...

That's just my opinion though. Hope that helps.
