I cut out a portion of the A pillar, inner rocker, kickpanel and the pass. side floor section ( just past the bolt hole in the floor) . I cant seem to get the floor up. You know where the floor is attached at that bolt hole in the middle of the floor?? Is that brace that is under the floor attached with spot welds to the floor??? The floor is cut free but wont budge.. I looked and didnt see any spot welds...

If it is spot welded, anyone have a diagram showing where these spot welds may be???

There are spotwelds that hold the floor to that under bracing? Is that picture of a stock piece? Is that where the spotwelds are?

Yep, the center "pillar" is welded to the floorpan. Take an air chisel and wedge it in there and separate the two. It's not as hard as it looks.

Ok, center pillar is the one running from the rear of the truck to the front of the truck ya???

SO the support that goes from the left to the right is NOT spot welded??

This pic is of a replacement panel. The factory spot welds are roughly about where you see the welds on the replacement panel. If you lightly grind the the floor panel over the outriger brace (the brace that runs from the firewall area to the rear of the cab) you should be able to see the spot welds fairly easy. You can use a grinder or what I like to use is a cutoff wheel to lightly grind the sheel metal. Run the grinder over the panel material (floor in this case) until the metal gets hot, blue when cooled a little. This will thin the metal and make it easy to remove without grinding to much. Once you are able to peel off the old floor meterial, lightly grind whats left of the spot welds to clean up the support brace to get it ready for the new panel piece. Its fairly simple.
