5/7 Drop Pics??

Does anyone have any pictures of the truck with a 5/7 drop? That is the drop I am going with and am curious how the truck will sit on the tires. Will it be tucking the tire any or just above the tire?

Thanks,
Ryan

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: 5/7 Drop Pics??

My truck, 5/8 drop, 15's all the way around. Depending on your leaf spring setup, you could have more drop when you flip the axle compared to what the mfr's advertise.

Re: 5/7 Drop Pics??

My wife told me not to do a drop on my truck (she's from West Texas and has only seen trucks raised never lowered). I love the stance and look of the lowered trucks but if I was ever allowed to do a drop I'd probably do something less than the 5/7 drop.

Great looking trucks!

is this a new project? I haven't been on here in a while so I'm not caught up on everybodies projects... Dude, that thing is Smokin! You need to post that pic in the "Roll pan" thread... he also mentioned wanting pics of sport bumpers

Re: 5/7 Drop Pics??

Moostifier, no new project...just my long overdue and ever so on-going (ie 7 year) body off resto of my '73. I should be getting it back from the painter any day now, so I'll have more pics at that time.

Thanks for the kind words.

Absolutely killer looking truck, I did not like those wheels so much. However, they look insane on that color.
