A weird one, WTB defroster vent
I am looking for a plastic pass side (not sure if it matters, both if you want) defroster vent that's not broken... that's pretty much it. Tell me price with shipping to 29651.
Thanks! -Brian

It does matter by the way. One has a round hose bib and the other is oval, so you have to squeeze the hoseinto an oval shape to install it.

Re: A weird one, WTB defroster vent
I noticed the ovalness, and it was annoying. I am beginning to think it could matter though, because the little tang on there that fits into the square hole in the dash needs to orient the air in the right direction. Anyhoo, anyone have a pass side?

Re: A weird one, WTB defroster vent
It's really no big deal - I was trying to be funny. It's hard to be funny in type rather than speech. Anyway, I'll wait until you get back - though I am sorry to have hurried you out there. It's probably a cold Kansas Halloween by now.

Re: A weird one, WTB defroster vent
Brian, I do have a single passenger side vent, correct with the oval inlet. Originally was a tan or brown color, somewhere in it's previous life it was painted blue. Blue is peeling some at one corner. No cracks, splits, both tabs are intact. Do you need a pic, nothing speacial to it but if a pic is needed let me know. With some sanding, primer and paint it would look just fine.
Not really to bad out side right now. Mid 50's, low wind but chance of frost by morning. I hate winter already. (Guess that comes from working outside all day long.)

Re: A weird one, WTB defroster vent
well it's my second winter down in South Carolina... winter already started up in Syracuse NY, where I am originally from, so the cold actually seems pretty mild to me.
Anyway, no pics necessary. Give me a paypal address and I'll get the payment to you tonight. Thanks!!! -Brian

Re: A weird one, WTB defroster vent
Brian, Don't have a Paypal but if you would care to slip a $5 and 3 one $ bills in a couple sheets of paper and an envelope I've done that before. Guess I'm really "old school" but don't really care for much in the way of "on-line" payments. If that is good for you PM me and I will PM back a mailing address. Keep On Truckin'

You would really prefer cash to a check?

Re: A weird one, WTB defroster vent
I can help with one driver's side defroster vent. I would call it medium green but not sure if correct color for you. Almost a teal/blue to green color? Make sense? Has PT 3895479 with a single 2 under it. No chips, cracks, etc. nice original vent. $8.00 shipped if it is what you need.

Re: A weird one, WTB defroster vent
Doesn't look like the one I have. The two you show seem to be more green while the one I have seems more blue-ish in color. Sorry can't help you. Seems as if I recall the color you are looking for came in a "Seafoam Green" interior?
