Truck and Blazer factory build sheet location?

I did not get much of a response over on the Blazer section so I thought I would post here. Where would I find the build sheet on my 1972 Blazer? I know on trucks its under the seat but on Blazers? Gas Tank? Seats also? Anyone? Thanks

Re: Truck and Blazer factory build sheet location?

your PM to me got me thinking, and I was just about to ask the same thing.
Can we expand this to burbs too?
I removed my seat last week and fully expected to see it there, but nothing was there. I had the plastic mat too, front and middle (not the cargo area though) and still found nothing.

Yes, thanks, I have never seen a thread on either Burbs or Blazers factory build sheet location. Hmmmmm... Anyone?

Re: Truck and Blazer factory build sheet location?

I am starting to think gas tank? I once had an old Corvette and it was on top of the tank.

Re: Truck and Blazer factory build sheet location?

Keep in mind that not all build sheets made it into the truck. Also no telling how many have had the seats taken out for cleaning or whatever and the build sheet removed then.I would guess in the back of buckets if not under or over the gas tank but they may have even been under the backseat(seems like some cars had them there).
