Pics from Your Diesel Swaps

Does anyone have pics of there diesel swap? I have been thinking about doing the swap on a GMC 3500, it has a 350 w/ a 4 speed.

Here's a 6.2 in a 67-72 truck. This is what I'm doing to my dually except mine is a 6.5 Turbo. The 6.2/6.5's are a direct bolt in. They use same engine mounts as a 350 and have the same bell housing pattern. They are the easiest swap.

I put a 210 CI Cummins in my '71 C-20...............Send me a PM and I'll email pictures. Its not pretty though as I have been driving it for along while to iron out weaknesses...........Of-which I found quite a few of.

Re: Pics from Your Diesel Swaps

I have this retarded idea of finding a nice Cummins 4X4 x-tra cab and putting a Suburban on the frame. Not really a motor swap, but really a body swap. The frames and such on the Dodge is already engineered for the motor, why take a chance of snapping the frame of the Burb which was never intended to be diesel powered?

Re: Pics from Your Diesel Swaps

6.2 Users, Do you use the old style motor mounts?
Is a 4 row stock radiator enough?
I would appreciate it if someone could post a picture of the exhaust at the passenger side frame rail and firewall...Where the Banks downpipe goes on the 73/87's.

70RS/SS, don't forget the ride quality of the Cummins trucks!!!
67_C-30 I wold never have guessed you could keep the AC.
