Bucket seat in rear of Blazer

I am getting ready to replace the seats in my Blazer. I originally planned on going with Corbeau seats in the front and leave the stock rear seat. Then I saw some seats on the board that I am considering. I have another idea that I think I like the best. Bucket seats all around. Has anyone put bucket seats in place of the second row bench? I have some brackets that will work, but I am worried about overall height. My measurements tell me they will be almost to the roll bar. I would like to see some PICs before I do it. Anyone have any? If you do, can you tell me the height of your brackets and the height of your seats? Thanks.

Re: Bucket seat in rear of Blazer

I've seen it done a few times and I personally don't think it looks that good. The buckets are usually a higher back than the bench seat and it looks funny with the top off.

http://redart.com/ makes some nice Beard buckets and matching rear seats.

Re: Bucket seat in rear of Blazer

I'm not a big fan of seats that do not recline. Beard seats just are not comfortable to me.

I am worried about the rear height. Width and depth is fine. That is why I am looking for some pictures.

Thanks...

I don't have pics, but I put 4 cavalier buckets in my weeling Blazer. I think it looks great. As far as the hight goes, I left the head rests on the front seats, and removed the head rests from the rear seats.

Re: Bucket seat in rear of Blazer

I don't have any pics currently; yea I know no good with out a pic, but I put five buckets in mine. Two in front; one in the center just barly back from the front so your feet sit on the center hump between the front two, and two in the back. It really isn't all that bad sitting in any seat there is not much vertical leg room in the back two but plenty of horizontal leg room even for a 6'2" person.
