Re: Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What exactly is the problem. There is a hardline that attaches to the hose on the inside of the frame rail. Is the nut frozen into the end of the hose? Is the hose end frozen into the frame rail?

Re: Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will probably end up needing a set of line wrenches. You can make your own if you have some extra box ends. You need to use good wrenches though. Cheap Chinese won't cut the mustard.

Re: Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

theres a clip that holds it to the frame rail and a hard metal line that bolts into it. due to the position its a PITA without a lift to get to

Re: Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 79 and i dont see the c clamp that the other threads were talking about. i cant get a wrench on the nut on the inside of the frame rail. i'm thinking about cutting the outside of the screw where it goes in the frame with a grinder. then maybe i can pull the rest through the frame. i'm worried i'll have to replace the hardline also. how much is a proportioning valve? what size nut is on the end of the hardline?
