Cruise control wiring harness question?

I'm attempting to put a aftermarket cruise in, I got a factory cruise stick, what it's from not really sure, Description i got is 67/70 GM Cruise Turn Signal Lever #6465256. What does this plug into? It kinda looks like a little 3 fingered
hand with two fingers stuck together. I don't want to cut it or solider on to the end and wreak it. I'm hoping it plugs into a connector and someone has got one. I will try to post images once I compress them down.
Thanx Jacob

Re: Cruise control wiring harness question?

There are some pics in this thread that show the lever and looms, but not real clear.

Re: Cruise control wiring harness question?

did your aftermarket kit, come with a switch?
Does that switch have the same kind of plug on it?

If you are still looking for the mating plug for your cruise stick, look for a late 1970's GM full-size car, van, or pickup as a donor. The cruise was of the same basic design until GM went electronic (roughly in the early 1980s). The connector for the electronic cruise looks different and if memory serves it also has four wires so identification is easy. Be aware that the one of the wires on the mating plug you need is a resistor wire (the one that mates to the blue wire on the cruise stick).
