front end

my 82 c10 2wd rides like its got square wheels. Im going to get a new set of shocks and springs. I was going to go for heavy duty coils and gas shocks by monroe.. think this will make it ride a little easier ?

Re: front end

How is the riding height? Those springs seldom go bad. Heavy duty springs will make it ride rougher but the big HD shocks give great control on those trucks. Jack it up under the lower a arms & pull & shake everything checking for looseness. Replace any ball joints or linkage that has play in it. It sounds like you may have a tire problem. Check for any out of round or bulges. Check the wheel balance.

Re: front end

my tires are good i do need a couple of tie rod ends so ill do all four
the truck has a slight rake to it and the springs have rust on em.( pitting some ) the truck is a heavy half i think cause it seems to have eight leafs in the rears and the coils have more coils than i had on my 86 or 76
what make/model shock would you recommend ?
