Fuel Cell mounting location???

Where is the best place to mount a fuel cell in a 3/4 ton 4x4 68???
I was thinking I would mount it in the back behind the axle since I plan to move the exhaust to infront of the rear wheels...Only thing I dont like about that is all the weight is past the axle.

Re: Fuel Cell mounting location???

I wouldnt worry about that -- look where the tanks are on any Blazer. The weight back there should not affect it that much

Re: Fuel Cell mounting location???

im doing this soon also... Strongly considering going with a Summit cell in the bed over the axle. Its turning into a damn race truck anyway... Besides, then I have an excuse to buy a tonneau cover and put the bottle in the bed =)
