left rear fender for a stepside

I'm needing a driver's side rear fender for a 68 stepside. I'd prefer one close to Western KY so I wouldn't have to pay that much for shipping. I have all of the braces and bolts. When I bought my truck the fenders where in the bed and the passenger side was fine but driver's was flange-less...I might have some trade items if interested. I'm pulling the 292? I-6 (doesn't have carb, fuelpump, maybe a couple other things), the 3-speed manual tranny (don't know if it works), non-tilt steering column 3OTT (no wheel and shifter handle gone)

Can't help with the fender but I'd be interested in purchasing outright the I6 292 engine stands if it's a 2wd truck and you're not reinstalling the 292.

Re: left rear fender for a stepside

I'm gonna drop a SB V8 back in it...are they required for that? And it might be a while before I pull the engine because I'm having ACL reconstruction and MCL reattachment surgery in the morning. But I might be able to convince my Brother-in-law to pull it if you are in a hurry.

Yes small block stands are different. I have a pair of small block stands if you want to trade even. Just need these to be 292 stands, not the 250 I6 variety. 292 stands are offset, where 250 stands are directly across from each other. If this is a 292 engine and you want to trade let me know.

Re: left rear fender for a stepside

Sounds like a deal...I'll check and make sure they are the 292...that was the first thing my DAD said when we popped the hood "HMMM thats a 292". He's 80 years old and got a touch of Alzheimers but he can remember working on these things for 20 of those 80 years, So I trust that he's right.
