Speedometer adjustment

Is there any way to adjust the speedometer in 4x4 trucks for different size tires or gearing changes?

Got my NP205 transfer case apart and was looking at the speedo drive gear and it got me wondering about how accurate the speedometer will read when I go to larger tires.

Re: Speedometer adjustment

That's good to know. How do you figure out what you need though?

Re: Speedometer adjustment

I'm preretty sure... in fact I know that there is such thing as an inline ratio changer. instead of changing the gears on the inside of the t-case this miniture gear box screws into your T-case and your speedo cable screws into that. I can get pics if you need...
