Drum Brakes: How hot?

Hey guys. I want to paint the drums for my brakes, and i want to know if anyone here has an estimate or for some rason knows how hot they get under nrmal braking conditions? I wanna know if i can just paint em with rustoleum or if i should get engine enamel. Thanks...

I used some of that high temp rotor paint you have to bake on. It works great, the smell about killed me...

lol, well dont wanna be killin ourselves here. I ended up buyin just a 500 degree rated engine enamel. The only color caliper paint htey had at advenced was grey or red, and i wanted blue, and htey had three different engine blues, so i was happy. I jus tsprayed som come 9 oclock i can put em on... Thanks for the input...
