Re: Removing gauge cluster
You need to reach behind the cluster and un clip the spedo cable and un plug the wiring. Should lift right out then.

Re: Removing gauge cluster
Yup, unclip the speedo cable...then it'll slide out enough for you to unplug the rest of the wires. Be careful when removing it not to break any mounting tabs off.

Re: Removing gauge cluster
Has a metal tab on the bottom, press it towards the steering wheel while pulling the speedometer cable back and should pull right out. this will let the cluster move out from the dash a little more, allowing you to see the wiring harness conedtor, wich has tabs onthe outside that you sqeeze together and gently rock back and forth till it's free. be patienct and lot of luck. bob

Like the others warned, watch the tabs and the plastic around the perimeter of the cluster. Some areas sit behind the metal dash housing/opening.

Re: Removing gauge cluster
Don't forget that there prolly is a twist out light that has a fiber optic cable running to the ashtray that will have to be removed as well.

in the pictures theres two sets of wires. I dont know where either goes. would i be able to make connector for one set of wires to hook it up to the distributor? Or do i have to buy one somewhere? Which set of wires goes where?
