front end swap

Wish me luck! I brought home a front clip from a 78' Silverado, and am going to fit it to my 63' C10 for the power steering and disc brakes. Never tackled anything like this before, but figure it can be done. Know up front there will be issues, but all it takes is time and plenty of welding rod. Let you know how it comes along.

Re: front end swap

No welding rod. It all bolts in. You will need to get an adapter for the power steering box.

Re: front end swap

You can acually bolt up the control arms and not have to take out the whole crossmember unless you really want too.. This way you don't have to support the engine while you remove it..

Re: front end swap

I take that back. You will need some rod when you shorten the steering shaft.
