Re: well i found my "new" daily driver

Good Deal. Does it have the tach option on the build sheet on the box door? Doesn't look to be a factory on on there to me..

Good luck with it.. 67-72's are tough as nails, and occasionally as rusty..

Well alright! If it's a driver and doesn't have major cancer problems it's a good deal. I know you're proud. And what are you going to do to it first?

it needs some body work but all and all i think i found a pretty clean one, they have rerouted the gas tank under the bed and its not a real clean install. so thats going to have to be addressed, so a welder is on the list, as well as some practice panels(ive only worked with a mig welder on thicker metal) the compressor for the ac system is missing so thats going to have to be addressed.... some paint flaking. im going to have to fix the dash they cut it for a cd player and i dont really care for that, i like the more stock look. im also going to need to rewire the entire engine compartment all the wires are spliced and chewed up so mabee a painless wiring harness? little things here and there. the P.O. is replacing the linkage for the auto tranny as its really loose, as well as changing the exhaust gaskets. so yea i have alot ahead of me. not to mention i cant begin working on it till i get it payed off. which i hope to have done no later than February

Are you going to be able to use some stuff from your old truck on it?

If you're replacing just one part of the wiring harness I recommend LMC cuz you buy each individual harness. I bought the engine wiring harness from them and it was a great fit and i'm very happy with it.
