I already busted a couple knuckles what is the trick?

Man they really made the front bumper on my 67 C-10 nearly impossible to take off. The top bolts are too cramed to get a socket in there and the nut is in the braket that is U shaped so a boxed end won't fit, is there a trick to it or something, the front bumper on the 70 delta was simpl;e to take off, this one sucks

I have had problems with those and the ones holding the bed on. I got after them with a die grinder on which ever side was easiest. If you grind the bumper bolts off from the front keep a steady hand and keep the wheel perpendicular to bool head. Sometimes you don't have to grind it all the way off. Get it so thin and then punch it on through. A cutting touch will make very quick work of removing the nuts also if you have one at you disposal. Dave

me with a grinder would mean grinding marks all over the front bumber and on the chrome, But I did a search and found an idea that will work but it is to easy for me to think of, JUST REMOVE THE BRAKET FROM THE FRAME

grinding was my next option though, thanks for the advice

You came up with the same idea as me, I removed the bracket from the frame too, after a few hours of cussing first

unbolt the hole bumper assyembly from front of truck then heat the nuts from the back side and hit em with full air power on a impact wrench

thanks for all the help, maybe I don't need to, I am taking the pass. side fender off because it is junk and i am tryiung to get at all the spot welds, I think I have to take off the front bumper but how about the front grill piece, does that have to come off also?

Yeah, the easiest way to take the bumper off is to take the top L shaped bracket off with it. It has a nut welded to it, so it's easy to get the bolt out (if it's not rusted up.)

Take off the headlight bezel and there will be 6 bolts holding the grill to the fender. 3 on the top, 3 on the bottom. They're a pain in the but to get too. It's easier if you pull the headlight out too. Just push the plastic adjusters away from it and then the spring should come out pretty easy. Hope that helps

Spray them down with "PB Blaster" and let them sit for a day or two then they should come off easy!

It's what I use at the local junk yard and it usually work in minutes!

The stuff works the best hands down to any other bolt buster!

I use an open end finagled in there and a box of band aids and neosporin. Works fine............

I just removed the front bumper from the 71 Im parting----the easiest for me was to use a breaker bar and tighten them until they snapped.Usually 1---1 1/2 turns.

I have done that a time or two. Works better than having busted knuckles. New bolts and your done with it.
