Ok, so I'm a bit indecisive, so I thought I'd ask for help....take into mind that I have 3 kids (the drama queen-6, Captain Destructo-3, and his sidekick-4)...but I can't make up my mind on what to do with the cargo area. I want it to look nice, but it also has to haul my devil children around....thanks for the input!

I like the wood in the cargo area but I would cover it with carpet on the days I need to put somthing back there that would scrach it up.

I have the correct black carpet in mine.........BUT.........If I ever had the need or desire to tear it out.........It would be a wood bed kit and a full size mat as mentione above!!!!!

I've been toying with the idea of going for the hardwood look, but using laminate flooring. All just thoughts at the moment. I definitely prefer the wood floor in lieu of the carpet. I have 5 children, 4 of which are still in the destructo mode.

My other thought was to get some cabinet grade plywood, sand and stain and put the stainless strips over that.

love the hardwood but I would have carpet coveing it most of the time with extra under lay. I will be trying to sound dampen as much as possible for the stereo

that's what i was thinking about. The noise level, and the heating/cooling reasons.

I to have kids ( 5 yr old boy, 4 yr old girl) and they use the burb as their own clubhouse so i had to go with carpet . The side panels are textured white plastic i picked up from Home Depot and painted with gray base coat, the door panels i also painted and flaked the centers to match my roof. the seats and front carpet are from an 05 avalanche which i picked up for cheap. the carpet is a little short but not to bad.the back seat took a lot of work but it will fit.when the kids get older i would like to go the hardwood route.i still have to finish the wheel wells in the back.
