LH tailpipe bracket- Where to get one.
I have a SWB 2wd 72 that has a tailpipe bracket riveted on the LH side frame rail just behind the wheel opening. As i understand, the only trucks that came with one on the other side are the big block trucks(dual exhaust). A thought I would just get another LH bracket &flip it around and bolt it to the RH side frame rail for a clean installation. I went to a junkyard today to find one, and all 4 trucks they had were leaf spring trucks. Apparently they didn't use them on leaf spring trucks, because i didn't find one.
My questions are: 1) has anyone used a LH bracket on the RH side? 2) does this bracket only come on coil spring trucks? 3) Where can I get one? I couldn't take a picture of the LH one because my truck is currently at a muffler shop. Thanks for any info! |

My SB 69 GMC has the LH side riveted, but no RH. Factory leaf truck. Not sure on what trucks came with duals.
