2 Wheel Drive Lift Kits...

ANYONE GOT INFO ON LIFT KITS (SPRINGS) FOR A 1969 CHEVY TRUCK 2 WHEEL DRIVE ???
SPRINGS , A-ARMS , SPINDLES , ETC.... WANT TO GO AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE.

20 years ago I purchased lift springs for a 85 2 wheel drive 1/2 ton Chevy. I installed them it lifted 2 to 3 Inches. They where kind of intended for pre-runner style trucks and lifted truck like they said...what they forgot to mention was the ride was gone!

I then removed the springs from the 1/2 ton 85 and noticed they looked suprisingly similar to my 72 3/4 Chev so in installed them. The only difference that I recall is it was a little tougher to install on the 72...and I had to use a spring compressor (did not need one on 85). Again...totally lost ride but got good height.

Don't forget to visit your local alignment shop afterwards.
