So after installing the March serpentine belt system last night (PITA btw), I realized I need to switch to electric cooling and I might as well upgrade to a new aluminum radiator as well. I've searched for threads about radiators that will bolt right up, but I'm looking for a complete kit, sorta like this:

Does anyone know which one will bolt right up?

Not yet, but I'll get some tonight before dropping the motor in. The system looks GREAT.

I used the March serpentine system with a BE COOL radiator package that included everything electric fans, shroud, overflow tank, wiring....

I seen that one on Jeg's.....if only it wasn't 1300 bucks. Hopefully someone knows which Jeg's one will work, it's about 600.

Give an idea as to what you will be willing to spend. The March serpentine hints that you may want to put some quality into your truck. A good quality alumium radiator and fan setup is not cheap. I have a "Be Cool" radiator and a SPAL dual electric fan setup for my 68 in the basement and it was not cheap. I accepted the cost, due to the fact that I do not EVER want to deal with overheating issues, especially with the LS-1 motor setup going into it. I have seen to many great looking builds sitting along side a road with water belching out of them--Not me, no way.

I have just ordered a AFCO rad, part number 80243N. I got it for $355 from an ebay supplier. It is sold as a "bolt-in" for our trucks, it looks as if it will go straight in.

That AFCO rad is sweet, but the electric fans are the killer, the be cool deal is all together ready to roll. I personally will look at the AFCO as I don't need electric fans.

I like both of em too, but the Be Cool system is what I'm looking for, just not the price. Any one interested in buying a good used wife for, say, 1200 bucks

LOL....When my wife saw how much the Be Cool and the March system were she wanted to kill me but I am building the truck for her.

It's the truth it was the first vehicle I ever bought for her. It was her daily drive for a few years but it had cancer and we knew when we bought it that it needed work. And then along came Stacey David and CopperHead and well this is what happens when a man love his woman.

Good Luck---Everyone has an idea and a pocket book that they want to mold themselves to. The 68 that I am working on, is a modded truck from the ground up, (chopped, lowered, tubular suspension, etc...) so it will be a little pricey for some, but it will also take forever to finish---or so it seems.

I have a Griffin and love it, but I don't have the electric fans. The rad fit right in; the only thing I had to do was put in the bigger 4 core radiator brackets. Take a look at their website, they have some good set-ups.
