Re: Interesting color combo

Olive, green and rust.I agree interesting combo. The olive and green was mentiioned in another post a couple of days ago.I believe it was one(maybe the only) color combo other than white available without a special order or COPO.

Re: Interesting color combo

My Cheyenne Super Came with dark olive all on the bottom and light olive top. Ugly IMO. I changed it to Dark olive and white. It looks MUCH better. I have seen that rust color before too.

Re: Interesting color combo

There's an old man here in town that has a 71 or 72 colored up like that. His isn't nearly as nice as that one if that tells you anything!

Re: Interesting color combo

As I was sanding mine down I noticed a light olive and a darker olive color...along with the rust, some of that seafoam blue/green...and a few colors I can't really describe

Re: Interesting color combo

I have seen the Metallic dark olive with the light olive roof several times. This truck looks like the side stripe is the Dark green (non metallic 505 code) or I guess it could just be severly faded dark metallic.

Re: Interesting color combo

Classic Trucks magazine featured a 59 Apache with a similar color combo... I like it but I'm kind of biased towards green.
