67 - 72 front clip questions

Other than no marker lights in the fenders on 67 & 68 fenders are they the same as 69 - 72 fenders (mounting holes, shape ect.) If so will 67 or 68 fenders bolt to a 1970 core support ??? What about putting a 67 hood on a 1970 are the core supports different. What I'm looking to do is put a 67 hood on my 1970 truck but I want to run the 1970 grille any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: 67 - 72 front clip questions

67-68 Chevy fenders are different than 69-72s.They will all bolt to any year 67-72 cab,or core support but the fenders won't work with a 69-72 grill,or hood. The core support for 67-68s are different too in the headlight area, using a 67-68 core support with 69-72 grills will make the headlights lower as I've heard. There is a trend going on now making a 69-72 hood have the 67-68 hood look and still allow 69-72 fenders and grills to be used.
