Coys C5 20/22: First Look

I posted more in my build thread but for those who don't venture into the projects area often; if you're looking into Coys and considering 18/20, 20/20, or 20/22 (those were the tough choices for me), here's what 20/22 looks like. Haven't seen the 20/22 combo on 67-72's yet, so here they are:

Oops, I put the specs in my build thread but not here

Specs:
22x9 w/5.5" BS (5" BS would be better but they stopped making them)
305/40/22
20x8.5 w/5.25" BS
255/45/20

Yep. Not sure if others have run into this problem with coys. Gonna hit it with my little friend the angle grinder tomorrow.

Re: Coys C5 20/22: First Look

I'm debating on these as well as the Foose Legend wheels. I haven't decided yet. I'm going with the 17" or 18" all the way around.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

What I love about that thing is it is completely unique and executed so well......can't wait to see it completed.

Now all ya have to do is give me that thing, stick a feather up your butt and we'll both be tickled!

Re: Coys C5 20/22: First Look

i had to grind my corners off of my hubs to make the caps fit also. i have the coys (polished)18,20 on my truck but i think the wheels look like crap. maybe i just got a bad set or something but the machine work on my rims is terrible. on the dish of my rims you can see what looks like cross hatch marks all in them! and its in the metal not just a bad polish job. does anyone else have this problem? when i get my tax return im going to buy some different rims and get rid of these.

Re: Coys C5 20/22: First Look

Ive heard they might use cheap aluminum if that's possible. and that it doesnt look great polished. there might be imperfections in the metal. i have only seen the chrome and painted wheels myself. which look fine prob. cause there covered haha

but i have no proof of any of this...... just rumor

I want the polished one in 20's for my truck. but would like to figure out this issue........

photoshop

current height..

lowered haha..
