What's the going rate?
I never know where to put these threads anymore so here it goes. I know
the Blazer / Jimmy crowd will give the most accurate price guesstaments. Single Wall top, Hatch, & Surfboard rack that's been totally rebuilt, Value? (Top / Hatch are in real good shape but they're not perfect, minor flaws) PS - This is not for sale at this time, I just need to know how much to ask for it. (For those interested it will be sometime in May of 08 when I sell it)

Re: What's the going rate?
Top, $300 to $500 maybe but the rack could make it go either way depending on the buyer and their likes/dislikes.
The rack had alot of positive commentary back when you were fixing it, it may just increase the value. |

Re: What's the going rate?
I would give $500-600 for it. Might get a little more if somebody really is needing one. But then I think...they are getting hard to find and considering a bare hatch is $400 new... maybe start at $650 or 700 and come down.
Hopefully the repairs on mine will work. Otherwise, I think it's not worth a dime over $200 & I'm on my way to get it

Re: What's the going rate?
I agree. Actually, it should be worth more than that since people are getting 300-350 for a descent hatch, but pricing is one thing and getting the money is another.

Re: What's the going rate?
A-men.
I know that the rack is "One of a Kind" now since I redid it in BILLET ALUMINUM I was thinking it wouldn't be worth that much, ok Now I'm back to the spring dilema I guess when they start my shop in the spring I'll list it and go from there, Thanks

Re: What's the going rate?
Yeh, I realize that, I also picked up a DW w/ No hatch for $50 last year.
That is what concerns me about selling it, don't wanna price it too high or it will never get a second look, Plus I could end up stuck w/ it forever.

Re: What's the going rate?
Building a Shop in the spring, It will not be a full fledged Roadster, but it will have
it's own stall. (In other words, she will never be parked outside ever, ever, again)

Re: What's the going rate?
I have 2 double wall tops that I cannot give away... Why you would want to put yourself in the no top what so ever situation I dont know but what harp would it do the top to sit above the blazer in its stall?

Re: What's the going rate?
I'd like to have it as my 2wd is a single walled Blazer with a duoble wall sitting on it, but distance and the asking price would probably kill it. Keep me in mind though, I may be in a different place by then and need it!! PS anyone near AZ with a good single wall??
