Mig setting??

I am a total beginner when it comes to body work, but I do know how to weld thick stuff. I have a crack on a floorboard of one of my trucks that I would like to weld up.

I have a millermatic 180. Could some of you recomend a good starting point as far as voltage and feed rate settings? and wire size? I have a 75/25 mix gass bottle.

I have seen a bunch of posts about welding repares but none that included settings and wire diameter..

Thanks

Re: Mig setting??

This is the wrong subforum to post this question in.

Go post in the Paint & Body forum for better results.

The Projects folder is for start-to-finish build-up threads.
