1963 truck, suburban tail lights
Anyone ever tried putting suburban tail lights and sheet metal onto a truck rear end? I like the look of the suburban tail lights much more then the truck tailights, and the fabrication work would not be too much of an issue. Anyone ever tried this?

You'd have to narrow the tailgate too. Take a look:

Re: 1963 truck, suburban tail lights
I had always thought this would be a cool idea.
But when I looked into it I saw that it basically couldn't be done with existing parts. you would have to use the tops of suburban quarter panels to get then to work. the truck bed/gate are cut down a bit compared to a sub.
